2 Metre Wooden Folding Rule

The Stabila 1607 provides a measuring length of 2 metres when fully extended.

This makes it useful for measuring a variety of materials and workpieces, including:

• Timber

• Boards

• Shelving

• Furniture components

• Doors and frames

• Workshop materials

• General household fixtures

The folding design allows the rule to be stored more conveniently when not in use.

Double-Sided Measuring Scale

The Stabila 1607 features a double-sided measuring scale.

This makes it easier to read measurements from different working positions without constantly repositioning the rule.

The graduations are marked along both edges, providing a practical measuring reference for everyday tasks.

Centimetre & Millimetre Graduations

The measuring scale features:

• Centimetres (cm)

• Millimetres (mm)

These metric graduations allow users to measure and mark dimensions with millimetre divisions.

They are particularly useful for woodworking, fitting and general workshop applications where smaller measurement increments are required.

White Wooden Construction

The Stabila 1607 features a traditional wooden construction with a white finish.

The white surface provides a clear background for the measuring graduations, helping users read measurements during routine work.

Its classic design makes it a useful choice for those who prefer a folding rule over a retractable tape measure for certain tasks.

Convenient Folding Design

Unlike a rigid 2-metre ruler, the Stabila 1607 folds into a more compact form for storage and transport.

This makes it practical for:

• Toolboxes

• Workshop drawers

• Workbenches

• Site tool storage

• DIY tool collections

The folding design combines a useful extended measuring length with everyday portability.

16mm Wide Measuring Rule

The Stabila 1607 has a width of 16mm (5/8 inch).

This narrow profile makes it convenient to position against workpieces and materials when measuring or marking out.

Ideal for Carpentry & Woodworking

A wooden folding rule is a familiar tool in carpentry and joinery.

The Stabila 1607 is suitable for tasks such as:

• Measuring timber lengths

• Marking cutting positions

• Checking furniture dimensions

• Measuring shelving materials

• General joinery work

• Workshop layout and measuring

• DIY home improvements

Its double-sided metric scale provides a useful reference when working with different materials.

How to Use

1. Carefully unfold the Stabila 1607 to the required length.

2. Position the measuring rule against the material or surface.

3. Align the starting point of the scale with the edge or reference point.

4. Read the measurement using the centimetre and millimetre graduations.

5. Mark the required position using a suitable pencil or marking tool.

6. Fold the rule carefully after use.

7. Store it in a clean, dry location.

Care Advice: Avoid forcing the folding joints or exposing the wooden rule to prolonged moisture. Keep the measuring edges clean to maintain clear, readable graduations.

Why Choose the Stabila 1607 Wooden Folding Rule?

The Stabila 1607 combines a traditional folding ruler design with practical measuring features.
