HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong (Product 20) 1 Litre
HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong (Product 20) 1 Litre is a professional-strength, extremely powerful tile cleaner designed to remove problem dirt and stubborn old layers of wax, polish and other protective coatings from compatible floor tiles.
Developed for demanding cleaning jobs where an ordinary tile cleaner may not be powerful enough, HG Product 20 provides intensive deep-cleaning action for heavily contaminated tiled floors.
The powerful formula tackles stubborn and ingrained dirt while also helping remove difficult old protective layers that have built up on the floor over time.
It is particularly useful when old wax, polish or protective coatings need to be stripped before a floor is thoroughly cleaned, renovated or treated with a new compatible protective product.
The concentrated 1 litre formula provides excellent coverage. Depending on the level of contamination, one bottle is sufficient for approximately 35m² to 70m² of floor surface.
For anyone searching for a heavy duty tile cleaner, extra strong floor tile cleaner, wax remover for tiles, floor polish remover, tile coating remover or professional deep tile cleaner, HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong Product 20 provides powerful treatment for demanding floor-cleaning jobs.

Extra Strong Tile Cleaning
Regular floor cleaners are primarily intended for routine maintenance. However, heavily contaminated tiled floors can require a much stronger treatment.
HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong is specifically designed for problem dirt and difficult contamination, providing intensive cleaning when an everyday mopping cleaner isn't sufficient.
This makes it particularly useful for periodic deep cleaning and floor renovation projects.
Removes Old Wax & Polish
Repeated application of floor treatments can result in layers of old wax, polish and protective products accumulating on the surface.
Before applying a new protective treatment, these older layers may need to be removed thoroughly.
HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong helps strip old wax and polish, preparing compatible tiled floors for further cleaning or a new treatment.
Removes Difficult Protective Coatings
HG Product 20 is also designed to tackle other protective coatings that are particularly difficult to remove.
This makes it useful when renovating a tiled floor or correcting the build-up of previous maintenance treatments.
Always identify the existing coating and confirm surface compatibility before beginning treatment.
Ideal for Floor Preparation
HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong can be particularly useful as part of a floor renovation process.
Typical applications include:
-
Deep cleaning heavily soiled tiles
-
Removing stubborn ingrained dirt
-
Stripping old wax
-
Removing old floor polish
-
Removing compatible protective coatings
-
Preparing tiles for a new protective treatment
-
Renovating floors affected by maintenance-product build-up
How to Use
-
Sweep or vacuum the floor first to remove loose dust, grit and debris.
-
Identify the tile type and confirm that it is compatible with HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong.
-
Test the product on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the entire floor.
-
Dilute or apply the cleaner according to the instructions on the packaging.
-
Apply the solution evenly to the area requiring treatment.
-
Allow it to work for the period specified by HG.
-
Agitate or scrub stubborn areas using suitable floor-cleaning equipment where directed.
-
Remove the dirty solution and dissolved residues thoroughly.
-
Rinse or neutralise the floor if required by HG's instructions.
-
Allow the surface to dry completely before applying another floor treatment.
-
Do not mix the cleaner with other household or professional cleaning chemicals unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
-
Always follow HG's complete dilution, application and safety instructions.
Coverage
The amount of floor that can be treated depends on the severity of the contamination.
Bottle Size: 1 Litre
Approximate Coverage: 35m²–70m²
Heavily soiled areas or floors with substantial coating build-up may require more product, while less contaminated floors may achieve greater coverage.
Extra Strong Cleaner vs Regular Tile Cleaner
HG Tile Cleaner Extra Strong is intended for intensive cleaning and removal of difficult contamination or old protective layers.
A regular tile mopping cleaner is generally more appropriate for everyday or routine maintenance once the floor has been restored.
Using the appropriate product for each stage helps maintain tiled flooring while reserving extra-strong treatment for occasions when it is actually required.
