Deposits that can clog showerheads
Powerful Limescale Remover
Hard water can gradually leave calcium and mineral deposits on bathroom fixtures and surfaces.
When these deposits are allowed to accumulate, ordinary bathroom cleaners may struggle to remove them.
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate is formulated specifically for stubborn limescale and deposits, providing intensive descaling action where a more powerful treatment is required.
Concentrated Bathroom Descaler
Unlike a routine daily bathroom cleaner, HG Limescale Remover Concentrate is highly concentrated.
This makes it particularly suitable for demanding descaling jobs where significant mineral deposits have accumulated.
The concentrated formula should always be prepared and used according to HG's dilution and application instructions.
Tap Descaler
Taps are frequently exposed to hard water and can develop visible limescale around:
-
Tap bases
-
Spouts
-
Handles
-
Joints
-
Areas regularly exposed to water droplets
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate helps dissolve these stubborn deposits and restore a cleaner appearance to compatible bathroom taps.
Showerhead Descaler
Limescale can gradually build up inside and around showerhead openings, restricting water flow and affecting the spray pattern.
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate can be used as a powerful descaler for clogged showerheads, helping remove mineral deposits responsible for blocked or restricted outlets.
This makes it particularly useful in hard-water areas.
Shower Wall Limescale Remover
Shower walls are regularly exposed to water and can develop stubborn mineral deposits over time.
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate is suitable for compatible shower walls, providing powerful treatment when routine bathroom cleaning is no longer sufficient to remove accumulated scale.
Toilet Limescale & Urine Stain Remover
Toilets can develop stubborn deposits from a combination of mineral-rich water and urine residues.
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate is suitable for toilets and can remove limescale as well as urine stains, making it useful for more intensive toilet cleaning and renovation.
Removes Rust Stains
The concentrated formula can also tackle rust stains on compatible bathroom materials.
This provides additional cleaning power in areas where metal components or mineral-rich water have caused unwanted rust-coloured deposits.
Removes Verdigris
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate also removes verdigris, the green or blue-green deposits that can develop on copper and certain copper-containing metals.
This makes the product useful for specialist bathroom cleaning jobs involving compatible fixtures affected by this type of deposit.
Suitable for Bathtubs
Bathtubs can develop visible scale and mineral deposits, particularly around taps, plugholes and areas where water regularly evaporates.
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate can be used on compatible bathtub materials according to HG's directions, helping tackle stubborn deposits without relying on abrasive scrubbing.
How to Use
-
Read the complete product instructions before use, particularly the recommended dilution for the surface being treated.
-
Wear the protective equipment specified on the packaging.
-
Ensure the bathroom is appropriately ventilated.
-
Confirm that the surface or fixture is suitable for treatment.
-
Dilute or apply HG Limescale Remover Concentrate exactly as instructed for the intended application.
-
Apply the solution to the affected limescale or deposit.
-
Allow it to work only for the recommended contact time.
-
Rinse treated surfaces thoroughly with clean water as directed.
-
For showerheads, follow HG's specific descaling method and rinse thoroughly before returning the showerhead to use.
-
Do not allow the product to remain on a surface longer than recommended.
-
Never mix with bleach, chlorine products or other household cleaning chemicals.
-
Always follow HG's complete application, dilution and safety instructions.
Concentrated Descaler vs Daily Bathroom Cleaner
A daily bathroom cleaner is primarily designed to remove routine soap residue and light contamination before deposits become severe.
HG Limescale Remover Concentrate is designed for stubborn limescale and more difficult deposits, making it the better choice when intensive descaling is required.
Because it is highly concentrated, it should be used according to the specific dilution and application instructions rather than treated like an everyday ready-to-use cleaner.
