Flexible Liquid Rubber Coating
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal forms a flexible rubberised coating over compatible surfaces.
Rather than creating a hard, brittle finish, the rubberised coating is designed to provide a flexible protective barrier that seals against water, air and moisture.
This makes it particularly useful for outdoor areas exposed to changing weather conditions.
Waterproof Leak Repair
The coating is ideal for repairing suitable leaks by creating a continuous waterproof barrier across the affected area.
Its liquid consistency allows it to cover the surface around the leak, including small imperfections that may be difficult to seal with conventional tape or rigid repair materials.
Potential applications include:
-
Roof leaks
-
Gutter leaks
-
Drainage areas
-
Small cracks
-
Small gaps
-
Exterior joints
-
Weather-exposed surfaces
-
Caravan repairs
Weatherproof & Watertight Seal
Once correctly applied, Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal creates a weatherproof, watertight seal.
This protective layer helps prevent rain and moisture from penetrating the coated area, making it particularly useful for compatible exterior repairs and preventative maintenance.
Seals Out Water, Air & Moisture
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal is designed to create a protective barrier against:
-
Water
-
Rain
-
Moisture
-
Unwanted airflow
This makes it a versatile sealing product for areas where conventional fillers or sealants may not provide sufficient surface coverage.
Self-Levelling Formula
The self-levelling formula helps the liquid coating spread smoothly across the application area.
As it settles, the coating covers minor surface imperfections, small cracks and gaps to help create a more continuous waterproof barrier.
This feature is particularly useful on larger or irregular surfaces where a smooth protective coating is required.
Brush, Roll or Pour Application
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal provides several application options depending on the project.
It can be:
-
Brushed for detailed areas and targeted repairs
-
Rolled across larger surfaces
-
Poured where appropriate for broader coverage
This flexibility makes the coating suitable for both small repair jobs and larger waterproofing projects.
Waterproof Roof Coating
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal can be used for compatible roofing repairs, providing a flexible waterproof coating over suitable problem areas.
Its liquid formula can cover small cracks and gaps while creating a weather-resistant barrier against rain and moisture.
For major structural roof damage or extensive leaks, the underlying problem should be professionally assessed rather than relying solely on a surface coating.
Gutter Leak Repair
Cracks and leaks in compatible gutters can allow water to escape where it shouldn't.
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal can be applied over suitable damaged areas to form a flexible watertight coating, making it useful for gutter maintenance and minor leak repairs.
Drainage Pipe Repairs
The product is also suitable for compatible drainage pipe applications, where its rubberised coating can help seal small cracks, gaps and leak points.
For pressurised pipes, drinking-water systems or critical plumbing applications, use a repair method specifically approved for that purpose.
External Chimneys
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal can be used for suitable waterproofing and repair applications around external chimneys.
The coating can help protect compatible surfaces against water penetration and weather exposure.
It should not be applied to areas exposed to temperatures outside the manufacturer's specified operating limits.
Conservatories & Windows
Rainwater can penetrate through small cracks and gaps around conservatories and window areas.
The liquid coating can help create a continuous waterproof barrier across suitable exterior surfaces, making it useful for compatible maintenance and repair projects.
Suitable for Compatible uPVC
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal can be used on compatible uPVC surfaces, making it useful for numerous exterior building and household applications.
Always ensure the particular surface is suitable and properly prepared before applying the coating.
Caravan Waterproofing & Repairs
Caravans are continually exposed to rain and changing weather conditions, making effective sealing particularly important.
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal can be used for suitable caravan waterproofing and leak-repair projects, providing a flexible rubberised barrier over compatible surfaces.
Liquid Rubber vs Waterproof Repair Tape
Both liquid coatings and waterproof repair tapes can be useful for stopping leaks, but each has different advantages.
Gorilla Waterproof Coat & Seal is particularly useful for:
-
Irregular surfaces
-
Larger areas
-
Multiple small cracks
-
Surface waterproofing
-
Areas requiring a continuous coating
-
Brush, roller or pour application
Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape may be preferable for:
-
Individual holes
-
Tears
-
Localised cracks
-
Fast patch repairs
-
Applications where a tape patch is more convenient
For broad or irregular areas requiring a continuous waterproof membrane, the liquid coating can provide a particularly practical solution.
